Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 July 2026
1. Introduction & your acceptance
Welcome. This website, www.ashnoorfoods.com (the “Website”), is owned and operated by Saloni Agencies, the proprietor and owner of the Ashnoor brand of mustard oil and allied food products (referred to in these terms as “Ashnoor”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement that governs your access to and use of the Website.
By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Website, you (“you”, “your”, or “User”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Website.
Please read these Terms carefully. They include important provisions that limit our liability, disclaim certain warranties, and set out how disputes are resolved. Your use of the Website is also subject to any additional notices, guidelines, or rules published on specific pages, which are incorporated here by reference.
2. About this website
The Website is a brand and information resource. It exists to share information about Ashnoor — our story, our people, our products, recipes, and editorial content — and to help you find where to buy Ashnoor products.
This website is not an online store. We do not sell products or accept payments directly through the Website. Ashnoor products are sold: (a) through authorised retailers, distributors, and kirana stores; (b) directly and offline by us — including retail sales and wholesale, bulk, and distribution supply to traders, distributors, and businesses; and (c) through independent third-party online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, JioMart, Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart.
Any purchase you make on a marketplace is a transaction between you and that seller or marketplace, on that platform’s own terms of sale, pricing, delivery, and returns — not with us. Where you make a trade, wholesale, bulk, or distribution enquiry through the Website, any resulting sale or supply is agreed and concluded offline and is governed by the separate terms, invoice, purchase order, or written agreement agreed between you and us for that transaction — not by these Terms, which govern only your use of the Website.
Where the Website links you to a marketplace or seller, the link is provided for your convenience only and does not imply that we control, endorse, or are responsible for that platform. See the Sections on third-party links and genuine products below.

4. Eligibility & capacity
To use the Website and to form a binding agreement with us, you must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are a minor, you may use the Website only under the supervision and with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
By using the Website, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements, that all information you provide is true, accurate, and current, and that your use of the Website does not violate any applicable law or these Terms.
5. Use of the website & your conduct
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to access and use the Website for your own lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes.
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorised purpose, or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
- Copy, reproduce, scrape, data-mine, harvest, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from any Content without our prior written permission;
- Use any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, or other automated means to access, monitor, or copy the Website or its Content;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Website;
- Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, malware, or any other malicious or harmful code;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of, or breach or circumvent, any security or authentication measures of the Website;
- Interfere with, overload, disrupt, or impair the Website, its servers, or networks, or any other user’s use of it;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, including Ashnoor;
- Frame, mirror, or deep-link to the Website in a misleading manner, or use the Marks in a way that could confuse or deceive;
- Collect or store personal data about other users, or transmit unsolicited advertising or “spam”.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action — including reporting to law-enforcement authorities and suspending or terminating your access — against anyone who, in our sole judgement, violates this section.
6. Intellectual property
All Content on the Website — including the name “Ashnoor”, the Ashnoor logo, wordmark, and packaging trade dress, the taglines “Har Rasoi Ka Apna Ashnoor” and “Har Boond Mein Sachi Nigrani”, and all product images, text, graphics, illustrations, photographs, videos, and the design, selection, and arrangement of the Website — is owned by, or licensed to, Saloni Agencies, and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, the Designs Act, 2000, and other applicable Indian and international laws.
The Marks are the registered and/or unregistered trademarks and trade dress of Saloni Agencies. Nothing on the Website should be read as granting any licence or right to use any Mark without our prior written permission. You must not use, register, or adopt any mark, name, domain, or trade dress that is identical or confusingly similar to the Marks.
Except for the limited licence in Section 05, no part of these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Website or its Content. Any unauthorised use, reproduction, republication, modification, distribution, or public display of the Content or Marks is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and criminal liability.
7. Product information, packaging & label accuracy
We take care to describe our products faithfully. However, all product descriptions, images, pack shots, colours, weights, ingredient and nutritional information, and other details shown on the Website are provided for general information only and are indicative. Actual product and packaging may differ, and photographs are for representation and may be styled or enlarged to show detail.
The pack label is the authoritative source. The information printed on the physical product pack — including the ingredient list, nutritional declaration, batch/lot number, date of manufacture, best-before/expiry date, net quantity, Maximum Retail Price (MRP), FSSAI licence number, allergen information, and any usage, storage, or handling instructions — is the definitive and legally governing information for that product, and prevails over anything shown on the Website. Always read the label on the pack before purchase and use.
Product availability, formulations, recipes, specifications, and pack sizes may change from time to time without prior notice. We do not warrant that any information on the Website is complete, current, or error-free, and we may correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission at any time.
8. Pricing, availability & where to buy
Because the Website is not a store, we do not offer products for direct sale or display binding prices for sale here. Any Maximum Retail Price (MRP) shown for a pack is inclusive of all applicable taxes and represents a maximum ceiling price as required under the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and the rules made thereunder. Actual selling prices are set independently by retailers and marketplaces and may be equal to, or lower than, the MRP.
We do not guarantee that any product is available at any particular store, marketplace, price, or time. Availability and pricing at third-party sellers are outside our control and are governed by that seller’s own terms.
9. Third-party links, marketplaces & sellers
The Website contains links to third-party websites, marketplaces, platforms, and social-media services that we do not own or control. These links are provided for your convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products, pricing, delivery, availability, security, policies, or practices of any third-party site or seller.
Your dealings with any third party — including any purchase, payment, delivery, warranty, return, refund, or dispute — are solely between you and that third party, and are governed by their terms and privacy policy. We are not a party to those transactions and accept no liability for them. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policy of any third-party service before you use it.
10. Genuine products, no franchise & fraud warning
To be sure of genuine Ashnoor products, please buy only from authorised retailers, distributors, and the official marketplace listings we point to. We are not responsible for counterfeit, tampered, expired, re-labelled, or misrepresented products, or for products sold outside authorised channels.
Beware of fraudulent schemes. Saloni Agencies (Ashnoor) does not appoint franchisees and does not sell franchise, dealership, or distributorship “rights” for a fee. We will never ask you to deposit money, pay a registration or security fee, share an OTP or bank/UPI details, or buy a “starter kit” in order to become a dealer, distributor, or partner, or to claim a prize, job, refund, or gift. Do not make any payment to, or share documents with, anyone making such offers in our name. When in doubt, verify first using the official contacts in the Grievance & Contact section, or via our Contact page.
If you come across a counterfeit product, a suspicious “Ashnoor” offer, or a misuse of our brand, please report it to us using the contacts below so we can act on it.
11. Your submissions, feedback & communications
The Website lets you contact us and send enquiries, feedback, suggestions, reviews, applications, and other material (“Submissions”) — for example, through our enquiry forms or newsletter sign-up. You are solely responsible for your Submissions and confirm that you have all rights needed to share them, and that they are accurate and lawful.
You must not send anything that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, infringing, misleading, or that contains malware or another person’s personal data without their consent.
Any feedback, idea, or suggestion you send us is provided on a non-confidential and non-proprietary basis. You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and act upon such feedback for any purpose, without any obligation, attribution, or compensation to you. We are under no obligation to keep any Submission confidential, to respond to it, or to use it.
We may — but are not obliged to — monitor, screen, edit, or remove any Submission, and we may retain and disclose Submissions where required to comply with law or to protect our rights.
12. Health, nutrition & responsible use
Ashnoor products are food products intended for ordinary culinary use in cooking and food preparation. Any wellness, nutrition, tradition, or “heart-conscious” information on the Website is provided for general information and cultural interest only, and reflects traditional culinary use and general understanding.
This is not medical or dietary advice. Content on the Website is not medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. It is not a substitute for professional advice. If you have a medical condition, food allergy, or dietary restriction, or if you are pregnant or nursing, please consult a qualified doctor or registered dietitian before making changes to your diet.
Allergen and suitability. Please read the pack label for ingredient, allergen, usage, and storage information. Discontinue use and seek advice if you experience any adverse reaction. Keep out of reach of children unless supervised, and store as directed on the pack.
Any benefits referred to on the Website are based on traditional culinary use and general wellness understanding. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The Website and all Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, accurate, complete, current, or free of errors, viruses, or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Any material you access or rely on through the Website is at your own discretion and risk.
Nothing in this section affects any rights, warranties, or guarantees that apply to the physical product by operation of law — including under food-safety and consumer-protection law — and that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Saloni Agencies, together with its proprietors, partners, employees, agents, and service providers, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary loss or damage, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Website, any Content, or any linked third-party site — whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
In addition, and without limiting the exclusions above, if — despite them — we are ever found liable to you for any matter arising out of or relating to your use of the Website, our total aggregate liability for all such claims taken together shall not exceed ₹5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand only). This figure is only an upper ceiling on what a court could, in that situation, require us to pay; it does not require you to pay us anything, and it does not reduce the statutory rights described below.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or food-safety law that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in this section seeks to limit your separate statutory rights in respect of a product you have purchased.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Saloni Agencies and its proprietors, partners, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your access to or use of the Website; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your Submissions; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
16. Privacy
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data, and the rights available to you. By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy.
17. Availability, changes & termination
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the Website, or any part or feature of it, at any time, with or without notice. We may also restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Website at any time if you breach these Terms or misuse the Website, or for any other reasonable operational, legal, or security reason.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including those on intellectual property, submissions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and grievance redressal — will continue to apply after your access ends.
18. Force majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations, or for any unavailability of the Website, caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes or labour disputes, failure of power, internet, or telecommunications services, cyber-attack, government action, or supply-chain disruption.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, our practices, or the Website. The current version is always posted on this page with the “Last updated” date shown above. Material changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Website after they are posted means you accept the revised Terms. Please review this page periodically.
20. Governing law, jurisdiction & disputes
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Website, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to the paragraph below, the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website.
We would always prefer to resolve any concern amicably. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact our Grievance Officer (see the section below) so that we can try, in good faith, to resolve the matter promptly.
21. General
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
- Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be a waiver of that right or provision.
- Assignment. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliate or successor. You may not assign or transfer your rights without our prior written consent.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any notices posted on the Website, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Website and supersede any prior understanding on the subject.
- Headings & interpretation. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
22. Grievance redressal & how to contact us
